General Sales Conditions and Warranty
SHIPPING & PROCESSING
Orders are shipped via FEDEX from our warehouse in Miami, FL. We offer free FEDEX Ground shipping on all orders over $100 that are shipped within the 48 continental states. All orders which are shipping to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico carry a 15% shipping fee. A flat rate of $10.00 will be assessed on orders less than $100.
You will receive an estimated ship date if the item you ordered is not in stock. In-stock items will ship within 48 hours after your order is placed. We do not ship on weekends or holidays. Large orders and certain items can only be shipped via freight.
Note: We currently only ship to addresses within the United States.
For estimated transit times, please visit the FEDEX website. Transit times are based on the number of business days from the time your shipment is picked up by FEDEX at our warehouse until the order is received at your delivery address. Please note FEDEX does not ship to PO addresses.
We take the utmost care to ensure that your order arrives in good condition, however, please notify us immediately in the event that your order arrives damaged. Failure by the customer to make any claim within three (3) business days from delivery date will constitute acceptance of the goods and the customer will waive the right to make claims of any damages, errors or shortages.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
For any reason, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 14 days. You may return most purchases made on our e-shop within 14 days of purchase with a 30% restocking fee. Sorry, we cannot accept returns on:
- Open Box, and Clearance Items
- Large orders (single fixtures over $500, orders totaling over $1,000 on multiple quantities of the same fixture)
- Any product that has been modified, installed, or used in any way
- Items not in resalable condition or items missing the original packaging
- Items not purchased from this website
- Items not purchased by the original customer (we require the original purchase receipt)
Products eligible for return/exchange include items in original, new, uninstalled condition with all original parts, and packaging. You may return any item that qualifies under these conditions within 15 days of delivery. If Return labels are provided, return shipping will be deducted from your refund. To exert this right, you have to contact Smart & Green by e-mail via the contact form available on the Site and acknowledgement of receipt.
The products distributed by Smart & Green are covered by a legal warranty of conformity for a one (1) year period. Within this period of time, you have the possibility to use the warranty if you notice a defect in your product purchased from Smart & Green. To exert this right, you have to contact Smart & Green by e-mail via the contact form available on the Site and acknowledgement of receipt.
This limited warranty extends only to the original purchaser and shall not cover defects or damages resulting from:
- Normal wear or ageing of the article;
- An accidental event.
If the conditions above are met, Smart & Green undertakes to repair the product. If this is not possible, Smart & Green shall offer to replace the product by an equivalent product or to reimburse you corresponding to the value of the product during the order.
